Caitlin Ege

As HFM’s Retirement Plan Relationship Manager, Caitlin translates complex “industry-speak” into plain English for plan sponsors and their employees. Nothing lights her up more than helping clients understand the ins and outs of their retirement plans and witnessing the moment that knowledge “clicks” for them.

Caitlin draws daily inspiration from Coach Jim Valvano’s speech at ESPN’s 1993 ESPY awards: “…there are three things we all should do every day… Number one is laugh… Number two is think… And number three is, you should have your emotions moved to tears, could be happiness or joy… If you laugh, you think, and you cry, that’s a full day. That’s a heck of a day…” No two days have been the same since Caitlin joined HFM in 2019, and she wouldn’t have it any other way.

Caitlin is an experienced financial services professional and a member of the American Society of Pension Professionals & Actuaries (ASPPA). She graduated from the University of Georgia in 2007 with a Bachelor’s degree in History. She also spent a semester studying abroad at Oxford University.

Caitlin is a DIY weekend warrior, along with her husband Mike and their daughter Marguerite. Together, they are slowly but surely transforming a fixer-upper into their dream home.

Fun fact: Caitlin’s happy place is the beach. She doesn’t think she’d survive if she had to live more than an hour drive from the ocean.
