Catherine Allen-Carlozo CFP®, RICP®, RSSA®

Catherine strives, and succeeds, to provide clients with the clarity, confidence, and capability they need to reach their financial goals. Recognizing that ‘financial freedom’ means something different for everyone, she partners with clients to help them define and pursue their unique dreams so they can live their best life in retirement.

Along with being a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER ®, she is a Registered Social Security Analyst, and emphasizes Social Security education in her financial planning approach. Catherine knows that optimizing the timing of Social Security benefits is a critical retirement planning decision that has the potential to make or break a client’s future financial success.

Catherine is a true team player who is always looking for ways to make someone’s day brighter. It’s no wonder she’s inspired by Hellen Keller, who said, “Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.” She also draws inspiration from her favorite affirmation: “I will allow abundance into my daily life.”

Catherine became a financial advisor to help others feel supported, confident, and in control of their financial lives. Her own journey taught her how powerful it is to have a trusted guide. She sees it as her mission to help her clients move from fear to freedom; and to honor the life they’ve worked so hard to create. She provides the tools to help them build bigger, and they are the beautifully finished product.

Catherine joined HFM in 2018. She fell in love with the firm’s investment philosophy, collegial culture, team-driven approach, community outreach, and supportive leadership. She is married with three stepchildren. Catherine is a history buff (any era), a space geek (a given, since her brother is an astronaut), and a huge fan of the U.S. Navy Blue Angels. She sits on the board of directors for her local Habitat for Humanity as well as the Trustees for the Inspira Health Foundation.
