Caitlin Ege is HFM’s Retirement Plan Relationship Manager. She plays a key role in helping both plan sponsors and their employees better understand and engage with their retirement plans. With a gift for translating complex financial jargon into plain, relatable language, Caitlin brings clarity and confidence to the people she works with. And she loves when she can see the moment it all “clicks.”

Caitlin began her career in financial services in 2011, joining a high-performing wealth management team in New York City. There, she discovered that finance wasn’t just about numbers and markets. It was about people trying to build secure futures for themselves and their families.

From there, she transitioned to a business management and accounting firm, gaining valuable behind-the-scenes experience in taxes and payroll, things most people avoid, but that Caitlin knows are essential to understand.

In 2019, Caitlin joined HFM, bringing a unique blend of front-line service and operational know-how to the retirement plan world.

Caitlin has worked for both large and small companies, but she says HFM is something different altogether. It’s the mindset of the team that deeply resonated with her. As a colleague noted, “We run HFM like a billion-dollar company” but with a team of just over a dozen, delivering the quality, professionalism, and client experience of the best in the industry.

Finance has long been part of Caitlin’s world. Her mother spent her career in financial services, starting at the American Airlines Credit Union at LaGuardia Airport and later becoming a small business banker throughout the NYC metro area. From her, Caitlin learned two things that continue to guide her work: strong relationships and deep knowledge are priceless.
